Spring 2019 Fresh Art Tour at Diane's studio!

Diane is happy to announce that her home studio and gardens on Goatback Road north of Pepin, will be one of the sites in FRESH ART TOUR 2019 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 7, 8 and 9, 2019!

Come and wander the beautiful gardens, buy native plants. Peruse Diane's large collection of pottery fresh from the kiln. Choose from your old favorites as well as new creations. There will be plenty of turtles too!

The photos were taken at Diane's home studio on Goatback Road outside of Pepin, Wisconsin. All of her pots are thrown on a potter's wheel. She makes functional pottery for everyday use that is as beautiful as it is sturdy.

The Shop

After twenty five years at her shop in Stockholm, Diane Millner is semi-retired, but still making her pots. Her pots are still available in the same lovely yellow Cape Cod house next to the railroad tracks in Stockholm, but the store is now called The Purple Turtle Artisan Collective. The new proprietor, Amanda Scholz,  is an amazing woman with some very interesting, fresh and funky creations from around the country. In addition to Amanda's inventory, you will find your favorite Diane Millner pots in her store.

What they're saying

I have at least 10 pie plates but yours is my favorite. It makes a nice big apple pie, cooks wonderfully and nothing sticks to it. It is sturdy too. I even haul it off to North Dakota on hunting trips with the guys.

I initiated my mug this morning with a vanilla latté. The drink stayed hot much longer than in my other cup/mugs due to its depth and I love the handle! Thank you so much,
